Get Involved

Volunteers are the lifeblood of Haven and there are many different ways you can get involved.  All volunteers are required to complete a training course and we run training a few times per year. Take a look below at some of the opportunities for individuals to serve:

  • Sorting and folding donations

  • Front desk & administration

  • Peer support

  • Doula services

Side By Side

Side By Side is our partnership program for Churches and home groups which pairs a group with a mother and baby and commits to support them for one year. This amazing partnership builds community ties and offers support beyond what the centre can provide.

The support this group provides may include:

  • Coffee, walks and fellowship

  • Text and phone calls

  • Prayer support

  • Babysitting

  • Meals

  • Cleaning, yard work and other practical support

  • Rides or transportation
